PRINCE2 version 2009
Courses are based on the latest version of PRINCE2, i.e., version 2009.

Audience
The course is designed for employees that act as project managers, as frequent project participants, as project support staff, as programme managers, as steering committee members and/or as quality assurance staff, and that want to improve these skills through internationally approved – and accredited -project management training.

Prerequisites
Anyone with working experience as a project participant or project manager qualifies.

Course results
The course gives participants knowledge of the PRINCE2 project management methodology.  The student will afterwards be able to organise, plan and manage projects efficiently in accordance with the PRINCE2 methodology. The course ends with the internationally accredited Foundation exam.

Method
Our starting point is a practical and critical approach to the PRINCE2 method. The course material as we as the course organisation are targeting at moving from theory to practice.

The course uses presentations and work with practical situations from the participants’ own projects. During the preparatory period, after the introduction day where the students work with the documentation, students will have access to the trainer and other students through informal networks.

In the preparatory period, the students train the practical use of the method by working with an extensive practical case (83 pages, 95 tasks with example solutions). In our course material and training, we do not use drilling on theoretical PRINCE2 questions, for example by working with test programs.

Security for an accredited exam
EPM Group is an accredited training organisation (ATO) approved by the Association of Project Management Group, Ltd. (APMG).
On behalf of OGC, APMG is responsible for the development of PRINCE2®, approval of training providers, including course material, administrative processes, and accredited PRINCE2 ® exams.

It is the participant’s assurance: an approved course with an approved exam.

Trainer
EPM Group’s requirements for trainers are significantly more demanding than the APM Group Ltd.'s Accreditation requirements for trainers. Trainers from the EPM Group have at least 10 years of practical training, consultancy and project management experience and are consistently graded at 4.0 or more on a scale from 0 to 5 by our participants. All our trainers have long experience of teaching in PRINCE2.

Training material
In our English-based courses, we use training material from SPOCE - one of the most used course materials in the world. Or we use e-learning from Avion WBT Ltd. We have developed the PRINCE2 version 2009 e-learning material together with Avion WBT.
